Olive rescue for oil - Warrnambool

Back by popular demand, we're helping collect olives to turn into beautiful oil. This timing is a guide, depending on the number of trees registered, we'll split into pairs or trios and tackle up to two sites for picking. We will let you know the exact harvest locations in Warrnambool the week before so you know where to go.

In return for your service, you will get some oil to take home once it has been processed, plus have priority access to purchase oil at our olive oil collection party in June.

REMINDER: To attend Fruit Rescue harvests, including this olive collection, you must register as a volunteer and reserve a ticket via Humanatix. To register as a volunteer, sign up via our website: https://fruitrescue.org.au/volunteer

Wear closed-toe shoes, appropriate clothing and hat.

If you're bringing a registered assistance dog please let us know so we can brief the tree keeper. Children welcome under the direct supervision of a guardian.

All volunteers must follow the instructions of the harvest leader at all times. Failure to do so may result in you being taken off our volunteer list. Trespassing onto neighbouring properties, disregard for safety measures, and disrespect for property owners or other volunteers will not be tolerated.
