Event description

OLIVES TO OIL 2025

Presented in partnership with the City of Whittlesea, Olives to Oil is an annual event run by CERES, bringing people together to harvest olives and have them pressed communally into delicious, local olive oil. There will be a Festival on the day to celebrate the harvest, with workshops, music, children's activities and community stalls.

If you don't have any olives to harvest but want to come along to the free Festival, please register here.

We’re thrilled with how popular Olives to Oil has become, growing exponentially year on year. To help cope with this demand and ensure more people have delicious oil to enjoy, we have some guidelines in place - please read the details carefully even if you have participated before.

OLIVE DROP OFF

Tickets are essential to take part, we won’t be able to accept olives which aren’t planned for. Each ticket entitles you to bring maximum 20kg of olives on the day (this is equivalent to about 2L of olive oil). Book a time to bring your olives to our drop-off and enjoy the festival activities on the day:

Tickets are only available to residents of the City of Whittlesea. Please bring proof of address with you when you drop off your olives.

PICK UP
You (or a friend or family member) must be available to collect your oil on Saturday 14th June. If you miss this day, there will be no further opportunity to pick up your oil.
