Local Olympians Celebration with Grace Brown and Penny Smith

Join us to celebrate the achievements of our 2024 Paris Olympians and to acknowledge the long history of Olympians from our communities in the Corangamite Shire!

The Civic Reception for the 2024 Paris Olympians is an event for the whole community to recognise and honour the community’s most recent Olympians and to also acknowledge prior Olympians who have hailed from Corangamite over the period of the modern Olympics.

The event will take the form of a fireside chat featuring Grace Brown and Penny Smith. Camperdown-born cyclist Grace won gold in the individual time trial and resident Penny won bronze in the women's trap shooting.
