OM FEST URBAN - A SOUND LIFE CHARITY

We are delighted to announce that OM Fest Urban is coming to Sydney on Saturday 22nd June 2024. 

OM Fest Urban will be held at Trackdown Studios in the Entertainment Quarter of Sydney, close to where we had our beautiful A Sound Life Dome up in 2019.

We are celebrating International Yoga Day and World Music Day, as this is the heart of what A Sound Life Charity offers through Seva:

DAY PASS : Welcome Ceremony, Yoga, Meditation, Breath + Sound Journey - 2.00pm-5.30pm

 
CONNECT & CHILLOUT : Food, Chill, Full Moon Fire Ceremony with Jesses Phillips - 5.30pm-7.00pm 

EVENING PASS : Music, Kirtan + Concert - 7.00pm-10.00pm

(Please note: You can stay for 1hour after (DAY PASSES) or arrive 1hour before (EVENING PASSES) for the event to experience the Market Stalls, Food + Elixirs and Fire Ceremony) 

Our program is a beautiful curated experience to help participants immerse themselves in the practices of mantra, movement, breath, sound and meditation. These ancient tools of Bhakti Yoga help us to realise our limitless nature, connecting us to the unconditional love in our hearts and the universal wisdom of OM (totality). 

We’ve designed a journey that will be nurturing and nourishing for body, mind and spirit. A balance of movement, deep relaxation, meditation and musical elation. Sacred sound vibrations are weaved through out the day into the evening. 

A Sound Life is the first Australian not for profit to bring the healing power of music, yoga and meditation to people in need as a free service in healthcare (hospitals, disabilities, mental health) and underserved communities (incl. youth at risk and women’s shelters). 

OM Fest Urban will begin at 2pm on Saturday with renowned Meditation Teacher Tom Cronin, Yoga Teacher Kate Kendall from Flow Athletic, and Breath-work and Sound Journey with Matt Omo diving deep into the bliss of Bhakti yoga.

From 5:30pm until 7pm, there will be a Full Moon Ceremony with the option get a delicious meal, and some special elixirs from our incredible market stalls.

OM Fest Urban will have an evening session starting at 7pm with a mega musical celebration and collaboration of world-fusion-conscious-devotional-music concert. Join the talented Nadav, Afro Moses, Maharshi, Mark Ashmore and Maxiji with Bondi Kirtan + more to come.

OM Fest Urban is a celebration of community, consciousness and compassionate living. · Parking can be made at The Entertainment Quarter Car Park - All Day Parking: $6 Parking Validation for OM Fest Urban Event. Please validate your parking before you leave the festival.
