On Country professional’s webinar was designed to support our professional community and explore key issues for First Nations financial wellbeing. The webinar also offers an opportunity to chat with First Nations Foundation staff and other professionals.  

Joining us for this month’s webinar is Mark Holden from Mob Strong Debt Help. Mark is a Dunghutti man who works as the solicitor and policy advocate at Financial Rights Legal Centre’s Mob Strong Debt Help. Mark has worked in the community legal sector for over 10 years and has even worked as an investigator for the ACCC for a short stint. Mark is passionate but poised in his advocacy both for the individual and for systemic justice.  

About Mob Strong Debt Help 
Mob Strong Debt Help is a First Nations led program that is part of the Financial Rights Legal Centre – a non-profit Community Legal Centre. We provide legal services and financial counselling for First Nations people nationwide on consumer financial matters. Some of these matters include debt collection, loans, consumer leases, buy now pay later products and insurance. Mob Strong works with the community groups to help provide or receive referrals, provide community legal education or discuss systemic issues experienced in their communities.
