***VIRTUAL*** KOVAL Whiskey Tasting w/ Co-founder/President Dr. Sonat Birnecker Hart
Description
Women Who Whiskey Los Angeles continues to celebrate our 10 year anniversary by highlighting amazing women in the spirits industry!
We are beyond excited to welcome Dr. Sonat Birnecker Hart, Co-Founder & President of KOVAL Distillery, for a VIRTUAL Tasting of four, award-winning, organic, single barrel, heart cut, grain-to-bottle whiskeys, including a pour from their ultra-premium Thresh & Winnow line!
Sonat will taste us through:
KOVAL Organic Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey: 95 pts - Whisky Bible
KOVAL Four Grain Organic Single Barrel Whiskey: 92 pts / a "Top Spirit of the Year" - Wine Enthusiast
KOVAL 100% Rye Organic Single Barrel Whiskey: 91 pts - Wine Enthusiast
KOVAL Thresh & Winnow Willet Bottled-in-Bond Ultra-Premium Limited Release Whiskey: 92 pts / Gold Exceptional - Beverage Tasting Institute
KOVAL Distillery in Chicago is the first distillery in the city since Prohibition. Every whiskey is grain-to-bottle: KOVAL sources organic grains from Midwest family farms, mills on site, distills using copper pot stills with heart-cut-only distillation, and ages in 30-gallon new charred American oak barrels. Each barrel is bottled individually as a true single barrel expression.
Our previous tasting with Sonat was one of our most popular and talked about virtual events and we can't wait to welcome her back!
PLEASE NOTE: The Zoom link will be shared with ticketholders 24 hours before the virtual event.
