Event description

Description

This ondemand webinar includes practical information to help build your confidence in the area of supporting language development.  It was orginally developed for teacher assistants, however the content is relevant for whānau, SENCOs, teachers, educators, and other interested people.

Our language skills include our vocabulary and how we combine words together.  These are fundamental skills for reading, assessment, conversation, social connection and learning - at school, home, and in the community.

We learn language through everyday interactions with people we trust in familiar contexts.  There are thousands of opportunities to build vocabulary and grammar skills through out the week, which will set up your learners for their entire life!
