Nourish your soul, nurture your mental health and share some emotional wellbeing by connecting with our one day retreats offered seasonally and year round at the jewel of Stradbroke Island, Mooloomba and Point Lookout Hall backing onto Home Beach.
Nourish your body with vegan cuisine onsite, whilst we nourish your soul with our wellbeing program of workshops; movement and meditation, sound and ceremony, healing workshops and wellbeing activities. Our nature inspired one day retreat happens five times a year 10 am - 4 pm.

You may never have been to the island before, or come to the island regularly.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Jo Fay Duncan is trained in a range of healing modalities, which work to bring emotional and spiritual balance and healing to people & planet. Inspired by days of the Lines in the Sand nature art festivals 2009-14 on the island, Jo Fay Duncan has once again brought together a very special series of one day retreats in 2025; late summer, autumn, winter, spring and summer.
Nathan Boyd Lowe joins Jo Fay Duncan in delivering this event and teaches you how to live life in high definition through meditation. He is a much loved island cook & vibrational sound meditation teacher.
Moira Moodley brings a world of taste and flavours of the seasons to our island wellbeing retreats. She believes in the ethics of permaculture and that guidance can be found in nature.
Josephine Ellis has been working with Jo Fay Duncan and on other island festivals such as Island Vibe for over 20 years and brings her special magic to bring together an amazing team.
HOW TO GET THERE:
If travelling by car from Brisbane, it is just 45 minutes to Toondah Harbour, in Cleveland and 45 minutes by vehicle ferry to our island.
By public transport, train will bring you from Brisbane to Cleveland and connecting bus to the water taxi which takes 25 minutes to get to the island. Island bus service will meet you on the other side and drop you direct to the Point Lookout Hall. Easy!
We offer an opportunity to retreat for the day. Let us look after you for the day. Scheduled to start at 10am you'll have time to visit the beach if you come early. Yummy vegan cuisine is on the schedule for lunch. Coffee available across the road.

WHAT TO BRING:
Journaling is a wonderful practice to foster- for taking notes, drawing, jotting down any ideas, visions or perceptions that come.
Bring a yoga mat, cushion, eye mask and warm covering for the meditation content of the day, at your discretion. Plenty of chairs and tables provided.
Bring water bottle and food for any special dietary requirements you may have.

THE ISLAND
The ancient sand and waters of North Stradbroke Island, is known as Minjerribah or Terrangeri to the Quandamooka Peoples. It is surrounded by the salt waters of the Coral Sea; fresh waters lakes and ecosystems within the island; wet and wild bush land throughout its interior; surrounded by surf beaches and mangroves on the bay side. The island is dense with animals, birds and sea creatures who make themselves known to us in surprising ways.
