One Night Track Stand 2025
Event description
2nd Annual (?!)Â One Night Track Stand
Part bicycle scavenger hunt, part community mixer, part fundraiser. Let's get silly together.
Ride bikes, meet people, make friends, fall in love?! All for a good cause.
ALL ARE WELCOME! ALLÂ BIKES - ALL FOLX - ALL RELATIONSHIP STATUSES
The ride format will be an out-and-back hub-and-spoke model where the goal is to get as many checkpoints as possible within the allotted time AND to do so with as many different partners as possible!
SILLY RULES!
Participants will partner up in groups of 2 - 4 and then receive a clue to the first checkpoint(s). Checkpoints will all be within ~15 minute-ish riding time distance from Principles. Once partner groupings have located and documented the checkpoint they will return to Principles to get their checkpoint validated by the judges by providing photo or video evidence of their checkpoints and verbal consent from their ride partners to be counted in their totals - so don't ditch your partner and don't be a jerk! Participants will then swap partners and build a new group before receiving their next clue and heading out again. Repeat as many times as possible before the end!Â
THERE WILL BE A POINTS AWARDED FOR YOURÂ CHECKPOINT AS WELL ASÂ UNIQUE PARTNER TOTALS.
Ride checkpoints might include solving a trivia question to reveal a photo op location, doing something goofy, reciting poetry, or telling someone you love them. Prizes will be awarded to riders who visit the most checkpoints AND ride with the most partners together. Additionally prizes may be awarded to participants with the best costumes, etc.
The ride will start at noon (12pm). Please arrive early to get situated, put on a name tag, and mingle to meet folks and build your first checkpoint grouping.
