Consolidated Course - Developing a One Planet Action Plan
Learn how you apply the OPL international framework after completing your first stage of analysis training to complete the initial training. It is suggested that you use the time to consider how you would apply this in a real project organisation, local government or school. The process allows you to apply the international framework, develop the action plan, and receive feedback. Recommended for people wanting to further understand the process and develop an approach to living within earth resources. This Module is a prerequisite for Module 3 the integrator training.Â
Taught across one webinar with one peer review discussion forum, it covers:
- Review of the first stage of Consolidated Course
- Overview, Process management, Desired Outcomes and Indicators of success
- Principle Actions Summary and Integrated thinking
- Detailed Action Planning and implementation process
The Training provides an understanding of the One Planet Living international framework and the action planning process across multiple sectors. Recognised projects and organisation examples from around the world will be shared, with the opportunity to discuss impacts and opportunities throughout the training.Â
You will build on your knowledge and be provided with the process and tools to enable you to further One Planet Living, thinking through the relationship with Bioregional Australia Foundation and Bioregional globally.Â
One Planet Living is an international framework with a universal vision that is applied to the regional or local context. The framework is applicable across multiple sectors to develop a shared vision with individuals and partners.
Sectors include:
- Communities – mixed-use residential developments and tourism accommodation;
- Schools – from early learning centres to educational institutes
- companies and organisations
- Cities and regions - local and regional governments
This training course is for:
People who have already done the stage 1 consolidated course to develop the skills necessary to become professional who can facilitate, inspire, engage or partner on the One Planet Program process internally or in consultation with client partners.
Content
The overall training course which includes consolidation of Explore and Learn modules  in the precursor to the professional consoldiated implement training which are our Modules MA 3 A and 3B - You will build on the One Planet Living vision, ten principles and 'Goals and Guidance'. It covers the One Planet Program analysis process in developing your One Planet Living Action Plan.
Activities include:
- Developing outcomes, indicators, and timeframes for a One Planet Action Plan
- Developing strategies and actions, targets and measures for a One Planet Action Plan
- Pre-training material will be provided by email one week before the event.
Please note: The completion of all this consolidated course and membership of Bioregional Australia Foundation is a prerequisite for the Implement One Planet Living Modules for Consolidated Integrator Training of Module 3A and 3B combined
Outcomes
On completion, course participants will know the One Planet Living framework. In addition, participants will understand the One Planet Analysis and Action Plan and the reporting requirements and assessment requirements as part of the national and international recognition.

To maximise your learning, we keep class sizes small. The maximum class size for this training online is 16 people. We require a minimum class size of 5 people to proceed.
