Join me in sacred circle, for a gentle and powerful experience.
Women have been gathering in circles for longer than we haven't. It's time to reconnect with this ancient, healing way.
Meet online, once a fortnight starting Saturday 24 July, 3PM to 4:45PM with an intimate group of women on zoom (invitation link sent to your email address at registration). You can join these circles at any time (tickets are offered at 2 sessions minimum):
Saturday 24 July + 7 Aug + 21 Aug + 4 Sept + 18 Sept + 2 Oct + 16 Oct + 30 Oct +13 Nov + 27 Nov
These sacred circles are guided by Arahni Lion, with grounded and heart-centred practices.
What happens in the circles? Â
- Sacred circle practices are based on the Circle Way (introduced by one of my teachers, Jane Hardwicke Collings of the School of Shamanic Womancraft and adapted from the book The Circle Way: A Leader in Every Chair by Christina Baldwin & Ann Linnea )
- We co-create a sacred container by asking what are the essential agreements we need to make as a group, so everyone feels safe to show up exactly as they are? We practice holding an intention to be in a circle of safety, respect and connection?
- We practice sharing in circle with a talking bowl, taking turns to listen and share, with curiosity, compassion and an open heart, practicing non-judgement of ourselves and each other.
- We hold the healing potential of 'circle as shaman', when we hear the voices of ourselves being spoken by others, in the circle.
- We remember our feminine ways that help keep us rooted and grounded in times of great change.

About Arahni:
Arahni began her journey with the School of Shamanic Womancraft in 2013 and is a graduate Teacher of the Four Seasons Journey. Arahni consciously walks her own shamanic path of healing and transformation and serves to re-awaken the innate healing wisdom and soul essence within others.
For 20 years Arahni worked in trauma informed family support centres, refuges, schools and outreach street work with young people and families in therapeutic case work, designing and delivering peer education on sexual assault prevention, domestic violence, alcohol and other drugs and sexual health. Over a period of 8 years, she had a specialised support role working closely with women and children with lived experiences of domestic violence.
Practising the healing arts of wholistic counselling, shamanic woman-crafting, intuitive body work and compassionate enquiry, she now walks alongside women who seek guidance to orient themselves through change and transformation, from birth to death and significant life events in between.
In her community and beyond, she offers 1:2:1 shamanic healing sessions, initiation rites, healing rituals, reclaiming ceremonies, sacred circles and coming-of-age journeys for mothers & daughters. She facilitates positive menstrual education, offering a new narrative to young girls as they walk through the threshold of Menarche and beyond.
Arahni lives with her daughter in a place between the escarpment and wild cliffs by the sea in the Illawarra, held by the lands of the Five Islands Dreaming, the Wodi Wodi people of the Dharawal Nation and acknowledges that sovereignty has never been ceded. These lands always were and always will be, Aboriginal land.
