Event description

We want your input!

Pilbara Community Legal Service is developing Love Shouldn’t Hurt, a violence prevention education program for young people aged 13-17. This program aims to equip young people with the tools and knowledge to navigate relationships respectfully and understand issues such as consent, legal rights, boundaries, and communication. Additionally, it focuses on the gendered drivers of family and domestic violence—the attitudes, behaviours, norms, and practices that create the environments where family and domestic violence occurs.

Who should attend?

We want to hear from parents or caregivers of young people and those who work with young people to discuss the unique challenges young people face while navigating intimate relationships and what is most important to include in the education program.

We would love to hear from people who live and work in Port Hedland, Roebourne, Tom Price, Newman and other Pilbara towns.

Please join us at this FREE workshop.
