Event description

FACILITATOR CONSULT CIRCLE

Wednesday, May 14 at 4:00 - 5:30* p.m. PT

For facilitators seeking to join a group dedicated to providing focused support, feedback, and collaborative problem-solving on topics related to leading community grief rituals.

This group is ideal for grief tenders who are already facilitating grief rituals or preparing to step into a facilitation role. It’s an opportunity for fellow grief tenders to share learnings, seek collaboration, bring questions and discussion topics, and offer support to one another. It is also a space to build a supportive peer community — because we can’t do this work alone.

SLIDING SCALE: $20 – $50 per hour-and-a-half consult group

GROUP SIZE: 3 person minimum, 10 person maximum -- *groups of 3–4 will meet for 60 minutes; groups of 5 or more will meet for up to 90 minutes, based on group needs.

FACILITATOR:

Siena Tenisci, MA, LMHC, is a therapist and founder of Northwest Grief Tending, a practice dedicated to the facilitation of grief rituals and community healing. As a descendant of Abruzzese and Celtic lineages, Siena has been working to revive ancestral keening traditions, where women once held central and respected roles in helping communities metabolize grief through vocal and communal rituals. With over ten years of experience, her approach to grief work has been shaped by many teachers, including Sobonfu and Malidoma Somé, Joanna Macy, Therese Charvet, Laurence Cole, Francis Weller, and Vince Horan. Siena’s work is also grounded in her MA in Counseling from Antioch University in Seattle, integrating Internal Family Systems, body-based methods, and anti-oppression frameworks to support clients on their healing paths.
