    Event description

    Hi!

This Humanitix page is for registering for the ONLINE class only.

We look forward to welcoming you to our 2023 limited series online bollywood dance class on Wednesday. This means we will be running in-person and online classes simultaneously on Wednesdays in July and August.

    What are the classes like?

Here is a quote from a class attendee which sums it all up:

“It’s definitely improved my fitness, but more importantly it’s helped me lose my inhibitions. For an hour each week you don’t take life too seriously.”

    During online classes:

    1. Camera OFF: We ask everyone joining to have their camera OFF and only turn them ON when you have a question. This will help optimise internet connectivity and also allow the teacher to know when questions are being asked.
    2. Mute Yourself: Please put your device on mute during the class – unless of course you want to ask a question (in which case you can un-mute for the question and then turn back on mute). We encourage the classes to be informal and collaborative!
    3. Do not take your device camera around your house: Please keep it in one place even if you need to leave the room.

To participate we ask you to agree to the following...

    • In-person and online attendees will be required to register via Humanitix prior to class each week. Registrations for online classes are 1 per household.
    • Registrations for online classes will close at 3pm on the day of the class, so please register prior to that if you plan to attend. If you register for the in-person class, but need to switch to online, please advise us via info@jhoombollywood.com before 5pm on the day of the class and we will send you the online details.
    • Once you have completed this registration process for the online class, the video link will be emailed to you between 3-4pm each Wednesday. By clicking on the video link we send through, you are agreeing to the conditions set out on this page.
    • Comfortable active wear is recommended. If you have Indian clothing please feel free to get into character.
    • Appropriate footwear is recommended.
    • Keep a towel and a bottle of water near you.
    • Clear your dance space to avoid tripping on or bumping into things in your room. Be mindful of children or pets that may not be in your line of vision while dancing.
