2022 NETWORK GATHERING and ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

'What does the future look like for landcare'

    Monday 5 December 10.00 am - 12.30 pm
Online on Zoom - Free Event

WALN has made the decision to move our upcoming 2022 WALN Network Gathering and Annual General Meeting online.

We love face to face gatherings but with the current COVID risk in the community and the number of events scheduled for early December we have decided that a shorter online event will enable more landcarers from across the State to attend.

So please join us for an online program that celebrates 2022, hear from local landcare champions doing really interesting things and have a chat about what's next for community landcare in WA.

The theme for the day 'What does the future look like for landcare' remains and the program will include:

    • Hear from Dr Louise Duxbury, National Landcare Network Board Member about the Federal landcare scene and what recent announcements in the Federal Budget might mean for landcare here in our State.

    • Listen and learn from local landcare champions about their success stories. Our list of presenters this year includes WALN Member Groups,  Nature Conservation Margaret River Region, GeoCatch, Blackwood Environment Society, Leschenault Catchment Council, South West Catchments Council and more.

    • Hear about WALN's achievements over the past year and thoughts about the year ahead at our brief 2022 Annual General Meeting.

This event is FREE. Refunds will be provided to those who purchased tickets to the face to face event at the Dolphin Discovery Centre.

Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to get an insight into the direction of landcare into 2023 and beyond.

This event is generously supported by the WA Government's State NRM Program.
