Online Consultation Forums - Cultural Safety & First Nations Ways
Event description
Charles Sturt’s First Nations Strategy commits us to the development of a First Nations Ways of Knowing, Being and Doing Framework, and a Cultural Safety Framework.
The First Nations Ways of Knowing, Being, and Doing Framework aims to deepen our understanding and engagement with First Nations wisdom, guiding and shaping the way we work, collaborate, share and learn. Alongside this, the First Nations Cultural Safety Framework seeks to establish a foundation for understanding cultural safety and maintaining a culturally safe environment at Charles Sturt University, supporting success and safety for all First Nations peoples.
Please share with us your thoughts about what First Nations Ways of Knowing, Being and Doing, and Cultural Safety mean to you and how that might look at Charles Sturt.
Visit First Nations - University Strategy 2030 for background papers on each framework to provide more context on these important pieces of work.
