Fri, 11 Jul, 4pm - 5:30pm NZST

Event description

Join us for an informative event hosted by the Whanganui Tech Network Trust, featuring Carl Bates, Deputy Chair of the Education and Workforce Committee. Carl will present on the inquiry into the online harms faced by young New Zealanders and discuss the roles of government, businesses, and society in addressing these issues.

This is a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about the experiences of young internet users and the perspectives of parents and caregivers. We encourage everyone to share their insights and submit written contributions by 30th July. Your voices are vital in shaping the committee's understanding and potential solutions.

Don't miss this chance to be part of the discussion! The event will include a Q&A session, allowing you to ask questions and share your thoughts directly with Carl Bates. We look forward to seeing you there!

Refreshments will be provided.
