Online Keynote: Hans Ulrich Obrist on Glissant

This language that is every stone co-curator Hans Ulrich Obrist presents a special online keynote reflecting on conversations with Édouard Glissant on his theories of Opacity, Archipelago, and Mondialité. Obrist will also discuss Glissant’s unrealised plans for a museum in Martinique and Glissant’s relationship with fellow cultural theorist, writer, and filmmaker Manthia Diawara.

This recorded lecture will be livestreamed on Zoom initially, with the recording available online at a later date.
