    Event description

    About the workshop:

Everyone can work – but not everyone is given the chance to show what they can do!

This online workshop is for people with disability who want to work but know the traditional pathways won’t lead to the jobs and career you want. In this interactive workshop, get started in working out what sort of job would be right for you or your family member, and learn about different ways to get it, even if it means creating a job yourself.

Come on your own or with the people who will help you work towards a goal of a meaningful job.

    At this workshop you will:

    • Learn how to come up with job ideas based on what you are good at and interested in.
    • Work out the things that will set you up to do well in a job.
    • Hear about different and creative ways to get or create meaningful jobs.
    • Bring it all together to figure out your next steps.
    • Start to develop innovative ways to tell workplaces about yourself.
    • Learn about things that will help you keep meaningful work once you have it.
