Online Meeting: What We Heard From The People's Commission On Housing + What Happens Next
Event description
In late August, Everybody's Home released the final report of the People's Commission into the Housing Crisis, after over 1,500 submissions from individuals and over 100 submissions from organisations.
The report is yet another reminder of the crushing toll of the housing crisis on members of the community, and calls for urgent action from the federal government, including creating 750,000 social homes within two decades, abolishing tax concessions for investors, and coordinating strong national rental reform.
Join this national online meeting for Everybody's Home supporters to learn what came out of the People's Commission into Housing, hear from some of the people who shared their stories, and to find out what happens next, and how you can get active.
