    Event description

** If you have missed the cutoff for this event and would like to attend please email rkqueries@archives.qld.gov.au for the TEAMS link**

This initial stage of consultation will focus on the overall approach to mandatory standards and our first proposed mandatory standard about making and keeping public records.

    This consultation session will include:

    • a brief re-cap on the Recordkeeping Policy Framework to see where mandatory standards, policies and guidelines fit in
    • what are outcomes-based standards and how would they be used?
    • how many mandatory standards should QSA initially have and what should they cover?
    • what requirements should be in mandatory standard 1 about making and keeping public records?
    • what should be covered by the supporting guidelines for mandatory standard 1?

We look forward to seeing you at a consultation session and hearing your views. Your feedback will help inform the Recordkeeping Policy Framework, focusing on developing the mandatory standards and supporting guidelines.

    Who should attend?

Anyone responsible for and/or involved in recordkeeping and information management within their public authority, including Chief Information Officers, Records Managers, Information Managers and Records Officers.

    Any Questions?

    Please email rkqueries@archives.qld.gov.au
