It is our last one for 2026 (we don't do December). So if you are feeling it. now is your chance.

The session time has been adjusted to 1:00 PM Brisbane to remain at 2:00 PM for Sydney and Melbourne during Daylight Savings. Yes, we in that awkward time shift!

What the heck is Purpose Speed Networking?

Simple. It's 1hr of Speed Networking. It's totally FREE! You’re welcome to join us and make purposeful connections.

If you haven't been to one of these before, have no fear, you are in safe hands. This will be our 61st online speed networking event!

While the name suggests Networking, there is a twist: We pose a different question. Not “What do you do?” rather “What are you passionate about changing in the world?”, or “What cause lights you up?”

What's new for the 61st

Our new Purpose Matchmaker review system is in full effect. After every event, you get to review the matches you had. That feedback then shapes the future events.

And it means the future events are gonna be even more awesome. Personally, I think it's pretty awesome because it puts the control in your hands.

The pre-event controls are in place too: you have control before the event, not just after. See who our regulars are, and those booked in for this one, and if you want to meet anyone, let us know!

This is how it will go:

We envision the virtual room filled with hundreds of awesome humans from all different walks of life, with one commonality - you care about the world and the people in it. In other words, purpose led, or purpose curious (you don't need to have it all worked out!). 

The Agenda

There will be a very brief warm welcome by your host with some basic rules and instructions.

The speed networking will commence using breakout rooms. It is 9 mins per pair, with equal focus intended for each person, then automatic change over. Follow the instructions and you'll be fine. 

Our Purpose Matchmaker is doing its thing in the background to connect you with intention based on what you're looking for right now. And after the event, you'll be the one helping shape the next room through the review system. This way you get maximum awesomeness from the experience.

ATTENTION: As it is a very tight schedule and we start strictly on time. The doors will close at 3 mins past the hour - be on time! This is so the system can run with everyone factored in.

What to wear

You are not expected to dress up. We are all working from home, so feel free to be your good self. But please do wear something! 

Make sure you bring your awesome smiling self and a great attitude.
