About Anke & FamilyFlow:

Anke is a parenting coach located in Margaret River, WA. She founded her business FamilyFlow after an intensive year of real-life parenting training alongside her family in Scandinavia in 2018. The amazing transformation of her own family life during this time inspired her to pass on the tools and holistic strategies that she had learned to apply with other parents. Her focus is to help parents turn everyday struggles into a family life full of ease, joy, flow and connection. She emphasises an individual and pragmatic approach that is empowering for everyone in the family.

With a background of 25 years as an IT project management professional, Anke's special interest is helping parents manage screentime, smartphones and social media in healthier, more successful ways. "So many parents are unsure whether or when to give your child/teen a smartphone, or are concerned about their kids' time spent on their devices or online. Screens are a major friction point in most families today and have unfortunately been one of the key contributing factors leading to the mental health crisis amongst youth and young adults we're now facing. Many parents are overprotective of their children in the real world while leaving them to their own devices online (quite literally), unprotected. I'm committed to supporting parents in navigating these challenges and in this way help their young people being better equipped to stay safe and thrive."
