FAQs

• Can I buy a ticket if I am not a member of the AJPA?

  No, AJPA only AJPA members can buy a ticket to these exclusive online events. Become a member at https://australianjigsawpuzzle.org.au/become-a-member/

• Do pairs partner or teammates need to be AJPA members too?

  No, the ticket buyer must be an AJPA member, but you are welcome to invite non-members to join pairs and team events as your guest.

• How many people can be in a Pairs or Teams race and do they all need a ticket?

  Only one ticket is needed for any type of event. Up to two puzzlers may join a pairs race. Up to four puzzlers may join a team race.

• Can I use my AJPA member discount?

  No. These events are already exclusive to AJPA members as a member benefit.

• Why can’t I see any available tickets?

  If you can't see any available tickets, this event is already sold out. You are welcome to add yourself to the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you to buy a ticket.

• Why can I never seem to buy a ticket?

  These events are very popular with our members and sell out fast. Watch out for the event email or follow our Humanitix page.

• What platform is used for the online events?

  We use Zoom for our online events. You will need to create a free Zoom account to join.

• When will I receive my joining instructions?

  Joining instructions are normally emailed between a week to a few days before the online event.

• I'm not very competitive or new to speed puzzling. Should I still buy a ticket?

  Absolutely yes! Online races are for puzzlers of all abilities — everyone is welcome. The online races are fun and inclusive. Whether you puzzle for fun or puzzle to win, you are encouraged to join. Not everyone will finish the puzzle in the allocated time and that is totally okay.

• What do I do if I can’t find my joining instructions?

  Check your spam folder first, then email the online events coordinator at online@australianjigsawpuzzle.org.au. Please do this at least the day before the event, so the coordinator has time to see your email.

• What do I do if I haven’t received my puzzle the week of the event?

  Please email the online events coordinator at online@australianjigsawpuzzle.org.au to check the tracking details and give you an update.

• When will I receive my puzzle?

  The AJPA Online Puzzle Partner Books R Us and More dispatches the event puzzles about 10 to 14 days before the event. In normal circumstances, puzzles should be received between 4 to 8 days before the event.

• When do I log in to an online race?

  Participants need to log in 30–60 minutes before the race. This time is used for check-in and to check your set-up before the race starts.

• When and where will I find the online race results?

  The results are emailed to ticket holders about a week after the race.
