This course consists of 2 x 2.5 Hour webinars run over 2 (usually) consecutive days.

This 5 Hour Online Standard MHFA Refresher Course is for any adult who has previously undertaken a 12 Hour Standard MHFA Course to refresh their skills and learn the most recent evidence based strategies.

Participants in refresher training wishing to gain accreditation as a Standard MHFAider must have been accredited with the 12 Hour Standard MHFA course within the last 3 years.

Master Instructor Mark Smith brings this material to life with his engaging and insightful presentations. Mark is a gifted educator with considerable experience delivering MHFA and working in the education, disability and youth community sector.

Mark Smith is an educational leader with extensive experience working in a diverse range of schools and youth focused organisations. Mark has been a special education teacher, head teacher and deputy principal for over 20 years. Mark has also worked in hospitals and youth and disability organisations in direct care and advocacy roles. Mark is a consultant trainer with MHFA International, in this role Mark works with the highly acclaimed team who developed the MHFA program that has now been adopted in over 25 countries. Mark's expertise in delivering MHFA Programs comes from deep insights into adolescents, mental health and education to provide participants with a unique training experience. Mark is highly engaging, utilises humour and shares personal narratives to support participant learning.
