Join us in an exciting 8-week online Te Reo Māori introduction course designed for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills.

This course is designed for anyone wanting to learn Te Reo Māori.

This course will cover a range of areas from;

Mihimihi- where you are from

Karakia - prayer

AEIOU - Māori alphabet

Basic greetings and protocols

Pronunciation

Learning basic sentences

Develop basic conversational skills

Our Te Reo Māori language 8 week course will re-connect you back to your culture in a safe and judgment free environment.

During this time you will build your knowledge, and will be able to greet others, introduce yourself, and have simple conversations in Te Reo Māori.

No matter your background, this course is for anyone who wants to learn and celebrate Te Reo Māori. We believe language connects us, builds understanding, and fosters respect for Aotearoa’s unique heritage.

Starting 20th January 2025 and finishes 10th March 2025

Monday evenings via Zoom 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Our Introduction to Te Reo Māori course includes

- 8 Te Reo Māori lessons (1.5 hours in duration) taught via Zoom

- Recording of each class

- Weekly class notes, homework assignments & resources to support your in-class learning
