    Event description

Come and take a peek at the Plummery in an ONLINE tour with Kat Lavers. ‘The Plummery’ is a 1/14th acre (280m2) urban permaculture system in Naarm/Melbourne. In 2020, the garden produced 451kg of herbs, vegies, fruit and eggs with about 4 hours management each week! The site features year round, diverse fruit and vegetable production using techniques to minimise effort and inputs, Japanese quail (aka 'mini chickens' ;) in a low maintenance deep litter aviary, a light earth studio, and an older house with many retrofits for comfort and sustainability.

Want to visit in person? Tours are running throughout February.

The Plummery has been featured on Gardening Australia, Happen Films and in RetroSuburbia.
