New to Australia and unsure about tax, your Tax File Number (TFN), or superannuation? Join us for a practical and easy-to-understand workshop designed for new migrants, refugees and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.

We’ll cover the basics of the Australian tax and superannuation system, including:

• Why and who pays tax

• How to apply for a TFN and keep it secure

• Understanding superannuation

• How to lodge an income tax return

• How to protect yourself from tax scams

• Where to find trusted information and support

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and clarify anything you’re unsure about.
