A weekly ONLINE guided practice by Sam. 

In these five weeks leading up to Christmas (November 21- December 19 2024) , let me guide you through a practice to unwind, find ease and let your body rest before drifting off to sleep.

Integrating asana (postures), pranayama (breath) and dhyana (meditation) in an intentional way to formulate a state of ease and rest. 

Through the practice of yin yoga, one can gain many things; a deep stretch of the physical body from the days activities, a therapeutic understanding of yoga, a space for the mind to be still, or a place for you to reconnect with gentle & intentional movement. 

Accessible and adaptable to all.

No experience necessary.

Setting up your space: Take 5-10mins to slowly set your space up before class. Minimal distraction, low light and as temperature controlled as you can. 

Equipment: Comfy base (yoga mat, blankets or rug), blanket to put over the body, bolster for supporting the shapes (or cushions!), and blocks (or hardcover books!) can be super handy. + Anything else to make you feel warm, cozy and comfortable.

What to wear: Anything you are comfortable to move gently/rest easily in. 

Background sound: You are more than welcome to choose your own slow, soothing background music, otherwise, please choose one of my Yin playlists! All are based on the traditional Chinese Medicine Elements, so choose what you require. https://open.spotify.com/user/...
