After our wildly popular 2025 tours, we're back again!
Join us for an inspiring sustainable fashion bus tour, brought to you as part of Slow Fashion September.
We’ll pick you up in Hamilton and travel to Te Awamutu sharing our favourite second hand shops, sustainable fashion tips and pearls of sustainable shopping wisdom along the way. You’ll enjoy a leisurely day browsing the racks, meeting new people and hopefully leave with a couple of bargains.
PICK UP DETAILS:
Rototuna: Please assemble at 8.15am - outside Te Kete Aronui/Rototuna Library. Note the bus will collect us on North City Rd.
Hamilton Gardens: Please assemble at 8.45am - at the top carpark at Gate 2 (first left off Friends Lane)
DROP OFF DETAILS
Hamilton Gardens: The bus will return at approx 2.15pm
Rototuna: The bus will return at approx 2.45pm
HOSTS:
Nic from Mainstream Green and Hamilton City Council Waste Team.
WHAT TO BRING:
Please note that this tour will involve walking between stores, so a comfortable pair of shoes and weather-appropriate clothing is recommended. If you have any particular access needs, please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
Your ticket includes a free coffee from a local cafe - make sure to remember your reusable cup!
This event is part of Slow Fashion September, a month-long calendar of sustainable fashion events supported by Hamilton City Council, Waipā District Council and Waikato District Council.
Funding is from the Government’s Waste Disposal Levy, helping councils run projects that encourage reducing waste.
