Open Christchurch 2024: RHR House
Architects: Three Sixty Architecture, 2023
Built by the architect as the family home, this coastal build rises well above sea level on exposed concrete and concrete blocks. The sumptuous interior, thick with textures and colours, is a striking contrast to this stark and permeable ground floor. Influences from the 60s/70s and materials typical of beach life anchor it in Southshore. Take in stunning estuary views framed from its inner sanctum. $5 + BFs
Saturday 4 May: 10 & 11 am, 1 & 2pm
Tours with limited numbers, bookings essential
