California Bungalow meets the Japanese tradition of the Minka House in the Big Cottage. Based on biophilic design principles, this energy-efficient superhome showcases natural materials on the exterior while the interior layout follows Japanese concepts. The wraparound verandah engawa enhances indoor-outdoor connection. Hear all about it from Japanese architect, Shizuka Yasui, and designer Bob Burnett. $5 + BFs
