Open Christchurch 2025: Boyd House - Saturday
Event description
OPEN CHRISTCHURCH 2025: Boyd House
Architects: Charles Thomas, 1970; alterations: Barry Connor Architecture Design, 2022-23.
Where: Spreydon (The address will be sent to registered attendees)
This unsung Christchurch modern gem is compact, highly liveable and in original condition, bar a few small but sensitive adjustments. Set amidst mature trees, its crisp lines and clever planning express an efficiency, while rich rimu, dimpled glass and roughcast concrete provide texture. The owners are only the second ones in the home’s lifetime, testament to its appeal. Allow 45 minutes. $5 + BFs
