Open Classes for Young People

Yellow Wheel invites you to join us for a class this coming June! 

Taking place at WXYZ Studios in North Melbourne, we’re putting on a 90 minute open class for young people ages 14 - 20. 

If you’re a dancer developing your artistic practice, we understand it can sometimes be intimidating to dance alongside professionals or to dance in a new place, so drop in for a dance and to meet us!

Facilitated by Yellow Wheel’s Executive Assistant Jacqui Maida, the class will include a warm up, improvisations and contemporary dance technique suited to you. 

Yellow Wheel is a pre-professional dance company that provides an environment for young people to not only be supported, but to support one another in their dance development. Members have the opportunity to take part in regular dance training and perform throughout the first three terms of the school year.
