Description

Join us for a special Open Day at the Sakya Temple of Peace in Kambah.

The Tibetan Buddhist Society of Canberra warmly invites the community to visit our beautiful Tibetan Buddhist temple, explore the space, meet members of the community, and learn more about meditation and Buddhism in a welcoming and relaxed environment.

This is a free community event and everyone is welcome.

On the day

  • Guided Temple Tours — explore the shrine room and Buddhist iconography

  • Discover meditation and Buddhist wisdom with varied introductory sessions running throughout the day

  • Chai tea and cake available to purchase — fundraiser stall.

Everyone is welcome! RSVP is appreciated for planning purposes.

We also hold free beginner-friendly guided meditation sessions every Sunday at 2pm, and everyone is welcome to attend.
