Sunday Cup Weekend ft. Some Sheila + Open Decks

Kick back this Cup weekend at Glamorama on Sunday - night full of familiar favourites, fresh faces, and as always, quality music.

For the very first time, Glam is opening up the courtyard for an Open Decks session, giving beginner DJs the chance to step up, spin their sound, and connect with others in the scene. Whether you’re jumping on for your first set or just coming to support your mates, it’s the perfect way to spend your Sunday,

As the night rolls on, we’re handing things over to a stacked lineup of your favourite local selectors, bringing all the signature Glam energy with a special Sunday twist.


Entry is FREE for students and hospo workers - must show valid student card or payslip on arrival.

OPEN DECKS

We’re on the hunt for fresh talent and offering a space to connect with others in the industry, grow the community we care so deeply about, and give beginner DJs a chance to step into the booth.

Oh, and the best set of the night wins a slot at Glamorama. Need we say more?

The Important Bits:

• Sign-ups: From doors open (in-person only).
  

• Set length: 20 minutes.
  

• Slots: 12 available, kicking off from 7 PM.
  

• BPM guide: 125-135 between 7-9 PM, then up to 145 BPM until 11 PM. (No bounce or heavy techno.)
  

• Gear: We provide CDJ-3000s (x2) and an A9 mixer.
  Bring your own USB and headphones.
  

• Registration: RSVP via the DJ registration ticket link so we know when to expect you - includes free entry + a free shot.
  

• On arrival: Use the sign-up sheet to pick your slot.
  

• No pass outs.

FAQs:

• What genres are accepted?
  House, disco, UKG, groovy, electronic and anything adjacent. (No fast bounce or heavy techno.)

• How do I book a slot?
  Fill out the sign-up sheet on the day -there’ll be two rounds of sign-ups.
  Arrive early to secure a spot. If slots are full, hang around anyway - b2b sets might pop up, or someone might drop out.

• Who can play?
  This is a space for emerging DJs.  flinta DJs are widely encouraged to attend!!! 

 If you’ve been professionally booked in the past year, please sit this one out - but come for boogie anyway.
