Event description

Come explore our small farm with a member of our family. Meet the ducks, goose, goats, horses, sheep, chickens, and dogs. Learn about the animals, what we do here at the farm, and interact as little or as much as you like with the different animals. There will not be hand feeding, but if you bring cut up veggies and fruits we can pour them in their treat bowls and you can watch them eat them!

***These are public tours so there may be other groups with yours. If you would like a private tour please email us at averyfamilyfarm@gmail.com or text 9192363244***

What to wear/bring: Plan to wear clothing and shoes that can get a little dirty (closed toed shoes preferred).

Ages: All ages are welcome.

Cost: $15 per participant over the age of 1 (if they are walking they count as a participant, if they are carried the whole time they don't count as a participant)

(Tips for your tour guide(s), and/or farm donations are also welcome!)

About the animals: 15 ducks, 2 chickens, 1 goose, 4 dogs, 14 goats, 2 sheep, and 2 horses. All are friendly, and all of the mammals can be touched and pet. The goose can be fed leafy greens, but the ducks and chickens will appreciate you just looking ;)

Types of food you can bring for the animals: All fruits, veggies, and nuts are welcome. For feeding while you are here, the food should be fairly fresh and cut into bite size pieces (think toddler size)

Some favorites: *Fruit: apples, berries, oranges, melons, and bananas  *Veggies: leafy greens (for the horses and goose), carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, eggplant, squash, and pumpkins (pumpkins can be left whole)

**Please cut into nickel sized pieces for the goats. Slices for the horses.
