Open Improv Night
Event description
Open Improv Night is back for 2025!
Presented by the Perth improvised Theatre Society (PITS), our very own Cameron Davis and Rich Weatherill are hosting a low-stakes, fun, supportive show for all improvisers. It's a show of the audience, by the audience, and for the audience!
Performing is totally optional - attending only as an audience member is also totally encouraged (so is convincing a friend to come with you!). The general public are very welcome.
It’s a show of two halves. First up, pre-registered groups will get 5-10 minutes onstage to perform as they choose. Then, anyone wanting a chance to perform can put their n ame into a hat to be drawn out and placed in a scene or game. The host reserves the right to be in every scene. 🙂
We’ll make it a fun night for you to try new things. We expect you to support everyone and have fun too. Improv success is optional, but respect and support are required.
The show starts at 7:00pm. Performers are welcome to warm-up from 6:30pm.
This event is open to the broader WA improv community, not just Perth Improvised Theatre Society (PITS) members. Participants attend at their own risk and waive any liability to PITS, Only The Human (OTH), or the facilitator by attending.
