Open Writing Days
Description
Step into the 'GROWING PAINS: The Immersion' exhibition and let it hold space for you.
Open Writing Days invite you to immerse yourself in the installation, connect with the artist and author, interact with the space, and be inspired to create.
Whether you're working on something of your own, co-working alongside others, collaborating, journalling, doodling, or simply sitting with the space and letting it move you, this is an open, low-pressure invitation to create and connect.
You don't need to be a writer or even consider yourself creative at all to belong here. All you need is a willingness to show up, experience something new and be in the presence of both process and produced art.
Open Writing Days include:
Opportunity to write, connect and chat with author and artist, Tiarn Florence
Interactive elements of the installation to engage in
Writing and drawing materials provided (pens, pencils, paper, clipboards to roam the exhibition with)
Open access to the installation and writing space for the duration of the session
Chai Chai Teahouse will be open to purchase teas, coffee, hot chocolates and a selection of delectable treats to fuel your creative experience
This is a FREE event and all are welcome here.
The venue has a ramp for accessibility (however, the toilet is not wheelchair accessible) and this space will be curated with consideration of varying sensory needs.
Psssst...If you'd like a copy of Tiarn's debut poetry collection, Growing Pains, at an exclusive bundled price, RSVP and select the "add on" option at checkout.
