    It's Back!
Opening Bash - your favorite way to kick off NYC Beer Week.

In addition to all that you’ve come to expect from the NYC Brewers Guild and Opening Bash - our festival to kick off NYC Beer Week - we’re working behind the scenes on some very special changes this year!

PLEASE GO TO THE GUILD WEBSITE FOR FULL EVENT INFORMATION

    NYCBrewed.com

As always at Opening Bash, you can count on our member breweries to be pouring alongside dozens of out of town guest breweries. Some you’ll know well, and others you may not have had a chance to try before.

    Some of the basics:
    • This will be an unlimited sampling event. Beer tastings are included in your ticket price
    • We're planning for VIP-Early Entry Tickets to start at 12:30PM, with staggered GA entry starting at 2PM. We may be extending the hours of the event this year into the early evening. Allowing attendees flexibility in their entry time. More info on that to come!
    • Designated Driver tickets will be available in coming days (after the Black Friday/Small Brewery Sunday sale has completed)
    • Full list of participating breweries, full schedule of the day, and food partners will be made available as soon as possible
    • The NYC Brewers Guild is a non-profit professional organization. By supporting the NYC Brewers Guild and Opening Bash, you’re drinking for a cause. Proceeds from OPENING BASH go to support the NYC Brewers Guild in our mission to advocate for brewers, brewing and celebrating local beer here in New York City. This help us cover programing, education and more to assist our local brewing community.
    • For more information about NYC Beer Week, our member breweries, NYC beer, and finding events throughout the year, visit: NYCBrewed.com and be sure to follow us @NYCBrewers.

    FAQ & CODE OF CONDUCT:

    • This event is 21+. No one under 21 will be admitted. Government issued ID must be presented at the time of entry. No children or babies will be admitted.
    • No pets allowed. Only ADA service animals are accepted.
    • No cans or bottles may be opened by attendees during the festival per State Liquor Law. No outside beverages will be permitted.
    • Refunds requests will only be honored up to ten (10) days prior to the event. No exceptions will be made. (NYC Brewers Guild is a 501c6)
    • Brewery list subject to change. (Be assured we're doing everything humanly possible to ensure your favorites will be there pouring, and ready to see you!)
    • Opening Bash is an unlimited sampling beer festival, and although we want everyone to enjoy themselves, anyone who is visibly intoxicated and/or behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave.
    • All attendees are expected to behave in a respectful manner. Attendees who disrupt the event or otherwise make other attendees uncomfortable or unsafe will be asked to leave, and no refunds given. Sober event monitors and safety advocates will be on-site to assist all attendees (and those working the event) should any situation arise at Opening Bash.

    EVENT SAFETY

As part of our dedication to providing safe and inclusive spaces, environments and events, the Guild works toward offering transparency to our attendees as well those working our events. In addition to our Safety Advocate program, we have worked with our partners at OutSmart, as well as the Women of the Bevolution and Hugging the Bar to instill and enact proper protocols. Our event Code of Conduct will be posted at the event. We can, and will provide more information upon request.
