Opening Night | FFDW2026 & Imagine: Material Stories
Description
Join us at the opening night of the third biennial Fremantle Design Week (FDW2026) and the exhibition Imagine: Material Stories.
The FDW2026 theme is 'imagine' - it's an invitation to seek out joy and creativity in challenging times. Start here!
The bar will be open, DJ Kester Sappho will be on the decks, and we're looking forward to kicking off a week of inspiring design events across the port city.
Special guest Dr Alice Payne, Dean, School of Fashion, RMIT, will open the exhibition Imagine: Material Stories, which brings circular materials to life as furniture and fashion.
This is a free event; however, registration is essential — all are welcome.
