Celebrate with us at the 2025 Labour Weeknd Exhibition opening night gala and awards ceremony. This event is an opportunity to meet and mingle with other artists and our community of art supporters.
Enjoy live local music, drinks and canapés, while getting a first look (and option to purchase) this year's fantastic works. Awards for the grand prize, runner-up, and others specially selected will be given on the night.
This exhibition celebrates the excellence and creativity of our region's artists, with a diverse range of mediums on exhibit and for sale, including painting, photography, sculpture, woodwork, ceramic art, jewellery, fibre art, and more. Over 300 artworks will be available from nearly 150 artists from across New Zealand.
Our 2025 guest artists are; Jane Burdon, Ollie Baldwin and Printmakers Wānaka. Our working artists are; Gus Milne, Ruth Napper, Shona Mackenzie and the Upper Clutha Woodcraft Guild. This years resident artist will be announced closer to the date, so stay tuned!
Hold on to your tickets! Your gala tickets get you free access to the exhibition for the rest of the weekend. Simply show them at the door for free entry on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
