Opening - Toby Evans: Adventures through Colour
Description
Join us at the Waverley Library Galleries for the opening of Toby Evans exhibition, Adventures through Colour.
Toby Evans is a local Bondi-based multi-disciplinary artist who celebrates colour through a vibrant, individual painting style. Through fusing classical inspirations, such as Impressionism, Neo-impressionism and Fauvism, with contemporary design techniques, Toby creates vivid explorations of Australian identity and place.
Skilled in IT and graphic design, Toby aims for his artwork to be both accessible and joyful; his depictions of iconic Australian sites, flora and fauna rendered in light brushstrokes and saturated colour carry the influence of the great colourists into a contemporary digital medium.
