Oppose-the-landfill Quiz Night | Fundraiser

Join us for a night of laughs, brain-bending trivia, and community spirit – all in support of protecting our community from the proposed managed fill at Jones Road, Hunua. A big thank you to John Hill Estate for kindly opening their doors to us, for this event, during their renovations.

We’re thrilled to welcome the hilarious Jimmy Cawthorne, who will be our host for the evening! Expect a few cheeky jabs at bureaucracy and plenty of feel-good entertainment as we band together to raise awareness and funds.

💡 What’s happening on the night?

• Quiz Night: Grab your mates and form a team! Test your general knowledge, facts, with Quiz Master, comedian, actor and ex-Rock Radio host Jimmy Cawthorne.

• Charity Auction: Bid on amazing local items and experiences, generously donated by our community. Every dollar raised helps fund expert advice, legal support, and public awareness to oppose the managed fill.

• Spot prizes, raffles, and more surprises!

All proceeds raised on the night will go towards the HAPVRA campaign against the managed fill to pay for experts.
