Orchestra Of Us with Richard Briggs + Pattern Drift at Franks Wild Years
Event description
Orchestra of Us is a band formed in isolation. Literally, it began as one person improvising with multiple instruments live over social media every Thursday night from a warehouse in Moruya to an unknown Global audience. Every set different, every performance of the moment.
Together with Sydney-based artist, Richard Briggs, whose work has garnered attention from the likes of Dirty Three and Chimers – the pair will create a site-specific soundscape turned drawing ‘in the moment’ and in direct response to their visual and tonal surroundings.
Supported by local sonic hypnotists, Pattern Drift, an Illawarrian quartet known for their sprawling audio experiments and the search for euphoric moments through improvised soundscapes, there is only one guaranteed outcome here.
We have no idea what is going to happen.
