Tram: The closest tram stop is at the corner of Sturt St/Southbank Boulevard #17; which is serviced by Route 1 (1 East Coburg - South Melbourne Beach), it is an accessible tram stop and 1 minute walk to Joan Hammond Hall. The closest tram stop serviced by the St Kilda Road corridor tram routes (Routes 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 and 72) is Arts Centre/St Kilda Road #14, it is also an accessible tram stop and is a 5 minute walk to Hanson Dyer Hall.
Entry instructions
Enter through the double automatic doors on Sturt Street, an usher will guide you to the elevators.
Toilet location
There is an accessible, all genders bathroom on Level Three near the Hanson Dyer Hall Foyer, there is also an accessible all genders bathroom on the Ground Floor accessible from the main entrance.
Accessible parking
Street Parking: There are two 4-hour parking bays reserved for people with disabilities on Sturt Street next door to the Ian Potter Southbank Centre (which contains Hanson Dyer Hall), opposite Betwixt Cafe & Bar. There are two further 4-hour bays on Sturt Street, behind the NGV.
