Event description
The Shire of Exmouth Council meets regularly to make decisions concerning the town of Exmouth. This decision-making meeting is where Councillors debate and vote on the matters contained within the agenda for that meeting. The decisions made at these meetings are implemented by the Shire of Exmouth’s Administration. Council meetings are chaired by the Shire President and are guided by the Standing Orders Local Law 2009, which details the requirements for meeting facilitation, order of business and adherence to statutory requirements.

If you have a question regarding an item for discussion at the next Ordinary Council Meeting, many questions or issues can be solved before the meeting by speaking to the appropriate responsible officer. If you have a large number of questions or questions that are of a detailed or technical nature, you are encouraged to write to the Council or hand your questions into the Shire Administration Office at least one hour before the meeting.
