Event description

PART 1: Who's who in the zoo?

The first part of this session is designed for Neighbourhood House managers, staff, volunteers and committee members who are new to the Neighbourhood House sector.

Participants will learn more about the role of Neighbourhood Houses Victoria and the staff, local networks, and the Department of Families, Fairness & Housing (DFFH). It's a great opportunity to get an overview of the sector and we encourage you to extend the invitation to your staff, volunteers and committee.

PART 2: Welcoming new managers!

This second part of the session is aimed to help new Neighbourhood House managers get their head across the sector. It will cover the programs, opportunities, and events for their Houses.

This includes key information on grant opportunities, governance and HR support, sector-wide programs and events, free or discounted resources for non-profits and helpful contacts. All managers are welcome to attend, but we particularly encourage new managers who may not be aware of the existing programs, annual events, and resources available.

Attendees will receive an email containing the Zoom link 24 hours before the event starts. We are looking forward to seeing you on Zoom!
