OSM Fiji September Event

OpenStreetMap Fiji, is building a community of diverse and active members. In order to grow our community we understand the need to host fundamental events that contribute to the wider understanding, value and appreciation of open data as well as run regular mapathons. Our events are open to those at all experience levels!

This September we are hosting two events free to register.

Join us for either of the following events:

• Open Data Socialisation workshop on Tuesday 28th September from 2-4pm FJT 
  • Guest speakers who are practitioners in Pasifika
    • Dr. Nathan Wales and Renata Varea
    • Conway Pene
  • QGIS Tips 1
• OSM Fiji Mapathon Challenge on the Wednesday 29th September from 2-4pm FJT
  • Building and point of interest mapping in HOT Tasking Manager
  • Mapping Challenges via Maproulette

Both events are hosted via Zoom. Please purchase the appropriate ticket type as this will provide your hosting details. 

Fijian registrations are eligible for 2GB data gifts. Additionally OSM Fiji Swag is up for grabs!!
