OSMaD is a non-professional company that draws widely from those interested in music, theatre performance, and production.

Every musical production produced has delighted audiences and drawn wide praise from critics, winning awards and gaining nominations from the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria and the Lyrebird Awards.

OSMaD is privileged to be able to stage their productions in the Geoffrey McComas Theatre; a fully resourced state-of-the-art theatrical space.

All shows draw on the interest and volunteer resources which exist in the broader amateur theatrical community network and an open audition policy has always been in place to ensure that the cast and crew, whilst remaining amateur, is of the highest quality possible.

Melbourne is fortunate in that it has Australia's most vibrant non-professional theatre scene and the brilliance of those who auditioned for past OSMaD productions has been a testament to that.
